SEO

EYP Systems offers our services in helping your site build Page Rank (PR). This is done through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO involves several different levels of advertising, codes (META) and what are known as link backs or reciprocal links.

META Tags

META tags provide certain information about your site, such as: title, description, keywords, search engine refresh rates and more. With a good META tag any site can instantly be recognized by Google and other big search engines. This allows potential visitors to find your site listing in these search engines easily.

Reciprocal Linking

Reciprocal linking or link back is the SEO method of linking sites to one another. For instance, EYP Systems has a link to Gb Tech Host on our site, and Gb Tech Host has a link back to EYP Systems on their site. The World Wide Web is built around web browser links and the more pertinant reciprocal links a site contains, the more often a search engine will be able to search their site. This, in turn, builds more refrence points a search engine has to list for any given site. Thus, increasing a site’s Page Rank (PR), and potentially increasing visits and/or business.

Advertising

Every time you turn on the television (on network channels), what do you see? Commercials, and lots of them. Advertising properly on the web is also an essential SEO tool. Sites like Google sometimes offer PPC (Pay Per Click) and PPI/V (Pay Per Impression or View depending on the site) as a means of advertising. Think of it this way: Television advertisers pay for each time their commercial is shown, which is the equivalent to PPI or PPV. Or, the advertisers pay for primetime position (like the Superbowl) to get the largest audience possible, which is equivelent to PPC. With PPC, you (the site owner) pay more for premier positions on your choice of sites that contain ads from sites like Google. All of these ads are then searchable for most search engines, which again provides more refrence points for search engines.
